Terms & Conditions for Skandyz.com
1. Order Confirmation
Once your order is completed, an order confirmation will be sent to the email address provided at checkout. The confirmation includes all relevant details such as billing information, delivery address, items purchased, pricing, and shipping costs. If any details appear incorrect, please contact us immediately.
2. Payment
Skandyz offers convenient payment options through Shopify’s supported methods, including credit/debit cards, local payment solutions when available, and PayPal.
3. Delivery Terms
Shipping options vary depending on destination and courier availability.
Under normal conditions, deliveries within Sweden are completed within 1–7 days. During periods of high order volume, delivery may take 1–21 days.
Special-order items may require up to 45 days for Swedish deliveries.
For EU destinations outside Sweden, deliveries typically arrive within 14 days, or up to 30 days during high‑demand periods.
Special-order items may require up to 60 days.
For deliveries outside the EU, Skandyz cannot guarantee delivery times due to customs processing and external factors beyond our control.
3.1 Shipment Tracking
When available, tracking information is sent via SMS or email. Once your order is ready for collection at a pickup point, you will receive a code via SMS or email to retrieve your package.
3.2 Address Changes
Once an order has been placed, address changes are generally not possible. Customers are responsible for ensuring their address information is correct at the time of purchase.
If an incorrect address is submitted, contact us as soon as possible. If the shipment has already been dispatched, Skandyz cannot provide a replacement shipment or cancel the order.
3.3 Delivery Delays
While most shipments arrive within the stated timeframes, delays may occasionally occur. You can track your delivery via the tracking link provided by the courier. You are welcome to contact us for assistance at any time.
4. Prices
All prices shown on our website are listed in SEK and include 12% VAT. We reserve the right to adjust prices due to supplier changes, typographical errors, or incorrect information.
5. Right of Withdrawal
Food products with a best‑before date are not eligible for withdrawal.
For non-food products, you have a 14‑day withdrawal period beginning on the date you receive your order. Products must be returned in their unopened, original packaging and remain unused. Opened or altered items are not eligible for withdrawal.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Please contact us via email if you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal.
If you request cancellation after placing an order, we cannot guarantee cancellation before dispatch, as orders are processed continuously by our external warehouse. If customer service receives your request before the order is shipped, we will do our utmost to accommodate it.
5.1 Exchanges
Exchanges are not available for food items with a best‑before date.
We offer exchanges for eligible non-food products within 14 days of receipt. Items must be unopened and in original condition. Return shipping fees apply and will be added to the original invoice.
5.2 Returns
Orders containing food items with best‑before dates cannot be returned.
Non-food items may be returned within 14 days of delivery. Products must be in their unopened original packaging and in flawless condition. Return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method once the return is received and approved.
5.3 Unclaimed Packages
If a package is not collected, a fee of 399 SEK will be charged to cover shipping, return transport, and handling costs. This applies even if the customer is away (e.g., on holiday).
Unclaimed packages do not constitute a valid cancellation. Under Swedish law, customers must always notify us to exercise withdrawal, exchange, complaint, or return rights.
6. Complaints
If you believe the item you received is defective, contact customer service as soon as possible. In case of dispute, we follow the recommendations of the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN).
Photos of the damage must be included for your complaint to be processed.
6.1 Cosmetic Defects
Skandyz does not compensate for cosmetic imperfections such as dents or creases on cans or bottles.
We also do not replace products affected by heat-related issues, such as melted chocolate during warmer months.
6.2 Passed Best‑Before Date
If you receive a product past its best‑before date and this was not stated in the product description, contact us for a credit.
If the date was clearly stated in the description, the product cannot be claimed.
7. Personal Data (GDPR)
Skandyz is responsible for the processing of personal data you provide. Your data is used to fulfill your purchases and, if you subscribe, to send newsletters. We do not share your information with third parties except as outlined below.
7.1 Definition of Personal Data
Personal data refers to any information that can identify an individual.
7.2 Data We Collect
To process orders and provide customer service, we store:
– Name
– Address
– Telephone number
– Email
– Purchase history
For invoice payments, we also store your personal identity number.
Data is retained for 7 years according to Swedish accounting laws.
7.3 Data Sharing
7.3.1 Payment Providers
Information such as name, address, email, phone number, identity number, and purchase history is shared with our payment processor.
7.3.2 Shipping Partners
To ship your order, we share your name, address, and contact information with our freight partner, DB Schenker.
7.3.3 Newsletter Services
If you subscribe to our newsletter, your name and email address are shared with our mailing service provider to facilitate and personalize communications.
7.3.4 Customer Reviews
We use Trustpilot to collect reviews. To verify authenticity, we share your name, order ID, and email address.
7.4 Right to Be Forgotten
You may request deletion of your personal data at any time, except where legal obligations require retention.
7.5 Access to Information
You may request a complete record of the personal data we store about you.
8. Product Information
We do our best to ensure that product images, titles, and descriptions accurately reflect the actual products. However, variations may occur. Skandyz reserves the right to correct or update product information at any time, including after an order has been placed.
9. Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use session cookies to support essential functions such as login, shopping cart activity, and filtering. We do not use permanent cookies.
You may delete cookies at any time. If you do not accept cookies, you may place your order by emailing support@skandyz.com.
Skandyz uses Google Analytics to understand website usage patterns and improve user experience. Google may share this data with third parties when legally required.

10. Force Majeure
Skandyz is not responsible for delays or errors caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to labor disputes, fires, war, regulatory actions, or supplier failures.
We are not liable for any direct or indirect damages or losses resulting from such circumstances.
